You can tell your employer to contribute your super into your Prime Super account by downloading a pre-filled choice of fund form and giving it to your employer.
You can also use the Prime Super app to tell your employer you've changed funds. Simply tap 'Update employer' at the bottom of the Super page.

How much super should I be paid?
From 1 July 2024, the super guarantee is 11.5% of your earnings, excluding overtime. This percentage is set to increase each year until 1 July 2025.

How often should super be paid?
Employers have to make super payments at least once a quarter. These have to be paid by the 28th of January, April, July and October each year. However, your employer might pay more frequently if they choose.

How do I know if my super is being paid?
Your employer has to show your super they set aside in your payslip, but it doesn't mean it has been paid into your fund yet. To check if your super has been paid, login to MemberOnline or download our app and view your transactions.

What happens if my super is not paid?
If you're eligible for super and your employer doesn't pay yours, they are breaking the law.
You can check if your super has been paid by logging in to MemberOnline or download our app. If you don't see at least quarterly transactions, and you've checked that you're eligible for super, you should ask to your employer which fund they're paying to.
If you believe your employer is unlawfully withholding your super, you can report them to the ATO.

Yes, you can have a super account and contribute to super at any time, even if you aren't working, or are self-employed.
