Investments reach new heights in 2016

Prime Super this year flew to new heights on the investment tables, outperforming a number of super funds across its investment portfolios.
In a financial year which saw many ups and downs on investment markets, both here and abroad, Prime Super's MySuper investment option (in which most members' super is invested) returned a solid 4.3% for 2015-16.
At the same time, 2.7%* was the median investment return for MySuper products across the super industry.

Prime Super's MySuper investment option returns have seen it rank among the industry's best performers, finishing in the top quartile over the 1, 3 and 5 year periods.

Prime Super CEO, Lachlan Baird pointed to the Fund's investment strategy for the positive results.
"This is an outstanding result and demonstrates that we have the right investment strategy in place to help our members grow their super savings."
The majority of Prime Super's nine investment options ranked in the top quartile of all super funds over the 1, 3 and 5 year periods. But the performance of the Fund's Property option was outstanding.
The Property investment option outperformed all super funds in its class - an outstanding result.
