What are my super investment options?

A number of investment options are available to you, they are detailed below:

Why should I make a choice?

It is in your best interest to make a decision about what is the best super investment choice for you. If you do not make a choice, your personal financial goals may not be aligned with the goals of the actual investment options that your savings are invested in.

If you don’t advise us of your preferred investment plan, you will automatically be placed in the Default option.

We strongly advise you to seek professional financial advice before making a decision about your super.

How do I make a super investment choice?

You can select your investment strategy online or by filling in an investment choice form and mailing it to us. You should be satisfied that the choice you have made is appropriate. An important step is to consider your investment risk - reward profile. We strongly advise that you seek professional financial advice before making a decision about your super investment.

Managed Growth Managed Growth invests primarily in growth assets, so that it will achieve a better return than the Default option over the medium to long term. Annual returns will vary more widely, with a greater chance of being negative.
Default The Default option invests in a broadly diversified range of investments that will achieve a better return than the Conservative option over the medium to long term. Annual returns will vary quite widely, and be negative on occasions.
Conservative Conservative provides capital growth over the medium term and protects the value of your net investment.
Target Return Target Return provides you with the opportunity to invest in an option that is expected to produce strong returns. This option allows for inflation over the long term, with an investment performance that is not expected to closely follow that of listed equity markets. The option involves investments that are generally not listed on stock markets (e.g. infrastructure, direct property and private equity).
Australian Shares

Australian Shares provides access to a range of investment managers investing in Australian listed companies. The managers utilise a range of investment styles, providing a greater range of diversification.
International Shares

International Shares provides access to a range of investment managers investing in international listed companies. The managers utilise a range of investment styles, providing a greater range of diversification.
Property

The Property option provides access to a range of investment managers investing in Australian and international property. Investment is through both listed and unlisted property vehicles.
Fixed Interest Fixed Interest provides access to a range of investment managers investing in Australian and international fixed interest products.
Cash The cash option invests solely in a cash manager, to provide a cash return on the sum invested
